Hostess Chocolate Creme Twinkies

I received an opportunity to try this product.  I love sweets and was more than happy to give these a try.  Pro: Chocolate (who doesn't love chocolate?), moist cake, lives up to the Hostess name.  Cons: No nostalgia.  When I eat a twinkie I like to go down memory lane starting with the very first twinkie I ever had.  I didn't get that feeling with this product.  Not to say that the chocolate twinkies aren't good they just aren't for me.  But they made great Easter basket treats :-)  If you love chocolate give Hostess Chocolate Creme Twinkies a try ;-) you can find them a most local Wal-Marts.

My Very First Ick-Stik

My adventures with the Ick-Stik began recently.  When first approached with the opportunity to try this product I was somewhat skeptical lol.  Really a stick that can block offensive odors?  Where has it been and why have I never heard of it? I received my Ick-Stik about a week ago and immediately got a chance to put it to the test.  My boyfriend, though slightly lactose intolerant, loves milk!  He insists on eating big bowls of cereal and consuming large glasses of milk with cookies, which leaves him very flatulent. When the war of odors started I immediately ran for cover in the safety of my room were I spotted my Ick-Stik.  Ah ha I thought time to put it to the test. I prepared myself for battle by generously applied it around and under my nose before heading to the front line.  Not only did it smell wonderful I no longer smelled what could only be described as rotting eggs on a hot summer day!  Kudos to Ick-Stik for a great product that actually works.  Not only do they have a website http://www.ick-stik.com/ you can also reach them via facebook https://www.facebook.com/ickstik  Now that I've talked about how wonderful the Ick-Stik is there is one con-It's size.  It is the same size as a chap stick.  I have tons of chap stick in my purse but only one Ick-Stik.  In my mind I figured what are the chances of me pulling out my one Ick-Stik amongst FIVE chap sticks while driving?  Well I must be a very lucky girl because that is exactly what I did!  Luckily I recognised the scent before applying it to my lips but it was a very close call!  I've learned to tuck it safely in the inside pocket of my purse for both easy access and caution lol.  My suggestion would be maybe to add a textured label to the Ick-Stik so it would still be a portable size but you could easily distinguish between it and your chap stick :-) <3

Kerastase Elixir Ultime

I received a sample of Kerastase Elixir Ultime in a Teen Birchbox that I won. It was in a small pump bottle slightly bigger than a chapstick tube. It came with no instructions and I was at a lost on what to do with it lol.  It didn't look like a shampoo or conditioner so I decided I would apply it to my wet/damp hair before blow drying. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! I love this stuff! My hair turned out wonderfully.  It was soft, silky, and flowing.  It was one of the best self blow drying experiences I have ever had!  I didn't even require my usual flat iron regimen although I did use my flat iron just to slightly curl my ends.  I researched this product by going to their official website (http://www.kerastase-usa.com/_en/_us/conso/products/elixirultime/index.aspx).  It retails for $54.00 for a 125ML bottle.  I am seriously planning to by this product.  The price is a little steep but it is well worth it.  A little goes a long way.  I used two pumps first initially, about the size of a nickel, and applied it all over my hair from roots to tips.  I then sectioned my hair into four sections and secured them individually.  As I got to each section I applied one small pump from roots to tips then blow dried.  If your hair is in need of a boost then I definitely recommend this product <3

Pantene Nature Fusion Moisture Balance Shampoo & Conditioner

So I was chosen by She Speaks (http://www.shespeaks.com/) to try and review Pantene Nature Fusion Moisture Balance Shampoo and Conditioner.  I love this shampoo!  It left my scalp feeling clean and refreshed and it smells really nice as well.  I did two washes and really got in there lol.  Also my hair didn't feel dry after washing and it wasn't tangled.  The conditioner is nice as well.  It left my hair feeling soft and tangle free.  It smells and I left it in for about 10 minutes (a mini deep condition lol).  I washed it out followed by a cold rinse.  Afterward my hair was soft and managable.  After blow drying and styling my hair was still soft and didn't have the dry look some shampoos and conditioners sometimes give me.  Overall I give this product a 4.5 out of 5.  Go try it out!

ORS HAIRepair Nourishing Conditioner

Ok this review is for Organic Root Stimulator(ORS) HAIRepair Nourishing Conditioner with banana & bamboo extract.  Let me start out by saying I love the ORS line of products, they are one of my favorites. It smelled lightly of bananas which was ok but I did not care for this conditioner :-( Before deep conditioning with this conditioner I washed my hair with Suave clarifying shampoo and quickie conditioned with V05 Moisture Milks conditioner.  My hair was softer after washing out the V05 than after I deep conditioned.  My hair was not tangled after rinsing out this conditioner but it wasn't what I have become accustomed to. I don't know what went wrong or if I will try the conditioner again. If I do I probably will mix in evoo.  Also it does have sort of a weird after smell to it.  Maybe it is just me it doesn't stink but I don't like it lol.

My First Product Review -Baby Lips by Maybelline

Let me start off by saying I love this product!!! It makes my lips feel so smooth and silky and soft.  I have Baby Lips in Quenched 006 and it is great.  It smells wonderful and is easy to apply.  The only down side to this product is that after about 30 minutes you need to reapply. I paid about $3.50 I believe at Walmart and I can not wait to purchase another one!
